This is my 2nd time purchase of sebonac, my dermatologist recommend this for preventing acne. I'm having sensitive acne prone skin and this gel is miracle for acne prone skin. But you have to noted one thing that you should apply this gel in night only and must apply sunscreen before sun exposure otherwise it will burn your skin. If you go accordingly, this gel gives magic glow to your skin.. My friend recommended me this product I used it for a month and Mt acne almost cleared up! Just yesterday my dermatologist gave me the same gel! And told me to use it only at nights after washing my face with face wash he gave! So its a good product to use! It'll make your skin lil dry and itchy but don't need to worry! I would like to give a mixed review. This product definitely smoothened my skin in jus a few days of use. I saw my blackheads disappear as well. But i am not sure if i broke out to it or it was purging in response to the salicylic acid- i got pimples which turned out to be quite stubborn- still have them despite it being over a month since i stopped using it. :/ will not be purchasing again - i guess an Face cleanser with AHA/BHA or both would be safer. 💁🏽‍♀️ This gel is clearly effective. It was prescribed by doctor and it's been some time that I've been using this .But this certainly depends on your skin so it may not be effective for everyone it may cause certain itchiness or redness but gradually decreases ance .So before usage it would be good if you ask you doctor.

If you are fighting acne and have looked into oral supplements, chances are that zinc gluconate sounds familiar to you. It is a zinc salt that has research proving it to be effective againstinflammatory acne, though not quite as effective as theantibiotic minocycline (31.2% vs. 63.4% success rate). However, zinc supplements are easily available, have little-to-no side effects, so supplementing them with a 30mg per day dose can still be a good idea. As for smearing zinc gluconate all over your face, it is also not a bad idea. Zinc has multiple magic abilities: it is antibacterial (including evil, acne-causingP. acnes) and sebum-regulating (5α-reductase inhibitor), great for acne-prone skin types. It also stimulates antioxidant enzyme systems (mainly wound healing abilitiesacting mainly in the first, proliferation phase. Sebonac

Sebonac Gel Salicylic acid has a potent keratolytic action and a slight antiseptic action when applied topically. It softens and destroys the stratum corneum by increasing endogenous hydration which causes the horny layer of the skin to swell, soften, and then desquamate. At high concentrations, salicylic acid has a caustic effect. It also possesses weak antifungal and antibacterial activity. Salicylic acid treats acne by causing skin cells to slough off more readily, preventing pores from clogging up. This effect on skin cells also makes salicylic acid an active ingredient in several shampoos meant to treat dandruff. Use of straight salicylic solution may cause hyperpigmentation on unpretreated skin for those with darker skin types (Fitzpatrick phototypes IV, V, VI), as well as with the lack of use of a broad spectrum sunblock. Subsalicylate in combination with bismuth form the popular stomach relief aid known commonly as Pepto-Bismol. When combined the two key ingredients help control diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, and even gas. It is also very mildly anti-biotic.
