When we planned for a Holy Trip to Shirdi & Pandharpur, Swadharmaprana Mathaji asked us to visit Sant Dnyaneshwar's Samadhi Mandir if possible and we also got a chance to visit this mandir. The temple is situated on the banks of the sacred Indrayani river in Alandi town of Pune district. It was a most divine place where Saint Shree Dyaneshwar Maharaj attained Jeeva samadhi. The temple view and Atmosphere was extremely wonderful. Highly spiritual place, so popular among Maharashtrians, Must visit temple at Pune !! Temple is of highly revered position and very ancient. Entry to the temple is bit crowdy. It took more than one hour walking in ques. Ghats on both the sides of river gives good view. sitting on the ghats is very much relaxing. It is located near indrayani river and can be reached by buses. It is very holy place for devotees and feel blessed when take darshan. It is 30Km from Pune. Earlier we were not aware of the temple. Our guide for pune suggested to visit this holy place. Sant Gyaneshwar Sports Complex is having all basic facilities for the Sports. It has ample place for all school level sports activities. Here youll get Badminton Court, Racing Tracks.
