Specifically, we used the mean across these EEO-1 groups to estimate that 5.7% of the civilian labor force has a disability as defined by the ACS. Since the ACS uses a narrower definition of disability, this 5.7% does not include all individuals with disabilities as defined under the broader definition in Section 503 and the ADAAA.
