Apollo Creed (August 17, 1942 - August 31, 1985) was the former Heavyweight Champion, who was introduced as the main antagonist in Rocky and Rocky II, the deuteragonist of Rocky III, a major character in Rocky IV, a mentioned character in Rocky V and Rocky Balboa and the titular posthumous overreaching protagonist of Creed, Creed II and Creed III.
