Geneva Conventions, Series of four international agreements (1864, 1906, 1929, 1949) signed in Geneva, Switz., that established the humanitarian principles by which the signatory countries are to treat an enemy’s military and civilian nationals in wartime.

Geneva is the capital of the Republic and Canton of Geneva and it’s situated at the south-western end of Lake Geneva. It is surrounded by three mountain chains that offer great landscapes and views. It is located at 374 meters altitude, however the Mont Blanc is just one hour drive away.
