The jejunum seems to blend with an exceptionally short ileum. The digestive tract continues as the jejunum which continues as the ileum. The jejunum appeared to be the most sensitive of the intestinal segments. The jejunum lies between the duodenum and the ileum. It is located between the stomach and the jejunum.
