Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Wednesday refused to apologise for the remarks she made in the Lok Sabha during the Budget session on Tuesday. The remark, which was expunged from parliament records, had drawn the ire of members of the BJP, and sought her apology.

NEW DELHI: Trinamool Congress ( TMC) Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra finds herself in the middle of a controversy over her “objectionable” remarks about Hindu goddess Kali. It is the second time in six months that she has been publicly rebuked by her party leadership.
