posterior

The posterior lobe ( neurohypophysis) doesn’t produce any hormones, but it rather releases two hormones that are initially produced in the nuclei of the hypothalamus.

Anatomically, the location of injury of “true posterior MI” by magnetic resonance imaging actually involves portions of the lateral left ventricular wall and is typically caused by occlusion of a nondominant left circumflex artery. The acute phase is characterized by ST segment depression, rather than ST segment elevation.
