According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, corporate procurement of clean energy in the U.S. grew from 9.1GW in 2018 to 15.7GW in 2019. This growth was in large part the result of innovations in power purchase agreements (PPAs), which have enabled primarily large corporate entities to procure increasing amounts of renewable energy.
