Once inside the app, you'll see a list of the latest Stories published by people you follow. To save one to your smartphone, all you have to do is tap the screen a couple times. To access all your saved content, just go to the corresponding folder located in the dropdown menu on the left. There you'll find two folders: one for Stories and one.
