In a crucial news update, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) premier pace bowler Umran Malik has bowled the fastest ball of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season where he clocked an astonishing bowling speed of 152 kmph in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.



During the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, Umran Malik bowled the fastest ball in the history of the competition by any Indian player when he clocked a brilliant bowling speed of 157 kmph. Incidentally, the SRH speedster crossed 150 kmph barrier during IPL 2022 more than 10 times.

After bowling the fastest delivery of IPL 2022 by hitting the 154.8 km/h, Malik bettered his speed on the last Over of the innings itself, when he bowled at 157 km/h. Clocking 157 ks, Umran not only bowled the fastest ball of the ongoing IPL season, but also went on to become the fastest Indian bowler ever in the history of the IPL.



IPL 2021: SRH pacer Umran Malik, making his IPL debut, turned heads with his raw pace. With a top speed of 151.03, he became the fastest Indian bowler in IPL 2021.



Umran Malik bowled a 156kph delivery with which he broke his own record for the fastest ball by an India bowler. But he may not get the credit for it as the official Hindi and English language.
