It is spread over in an area of around 175 hectares consisting of forest and horticulture area on 104 and 71 hectares, respectively at an altitude ranging between 1800-2300 m above msl. The College has been named in the memory of freedom fighter Late Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali of this area who was associated with Peshawar events in 1931.
