AA Amaravati: Amid tension and controversies, Amaravati farmers will begin the 60-day-long ‘maha padayatra’ to north coastal districts of the state on Monday. The farmers, who conducted the first phase padayatra to Tirupati in Rayalaseema, have decided to tour north coastal districts to seek support from locals.

Maha Padayatra from Amaravati to Arasavalli covers 15 km on Day 1. On the first day of the yatra, participants walked 15 km from Venkatapalem to Mangalagiri passing through Krishnayapalem.
