The Shikhar Shingnapur temple is an ancient Shiva temple about 45 kms from Satara. The temple is located on a hill and a motor able road has been built to access the temple. Whilst the temple appears to be ancient one, it has had modifications done to it. The main temple has been painted from the outside and one can see some beautiful sculptures.
