Shivam Mavi is another India U-19 star, besides Nagarkoti, who was picked up for his raw pace following the U-19 World Cup in 2018. He debuted for KKR in 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Even though he is lanky and not extremely tall (5’9”), Mavi’s constant speed over 140 KMPH and his lethal bouncers have often terrified his oppositions. He himself claimed that due to his pace and bounce, his friends often ran away whenever he used to come to bowl. Mavi was at the Afghanistan nets during their training in Greater Noida, when Lalchand Rajput spotted him. His skills have not gone unnoticed even by Sourav Ganguly. Mavi, who made his List A debut for India A against South Africa A in 2018, has a hat-trick to his name against Saurashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018.
