Sanskrit Shlok on Teachers गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः। गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।। Hindi Translation:- गुरु ब्रह्मा है, गुरु विष्णु है, और गुरु ही भगवान शंकर है। गुरु हि साक्षात् परब्रह्म है, उन सद्गुरु को प्रणाम करता हूँ। English Translation:- I salute the Guru, who is the Brahma (the creator), the Vishnu (the creator) and Shiva (the destroyer). I bow before the Guru, who is the personification of the Trinity. त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव, त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव । त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणं त्वमेव, त्वमेव सर्वं मम देव देव ॥ Hindi Translation:- हे गुरुदेव आप मेरे माता और पिता के समान है, आप मेरे भाई और साथी है, आप ही मेरे ज्ञान और धन है. प्रभु, आप सब कुछ हैं। English Translation:- Oh Guru You are my mother and father, you are my brother and companion, you alone are knowledge and wealth.
