Shooting for ’s ' ', the sequel to hit 2011 action film of the same name, is all set to begin from May 15 in Goa. Starring and in lead roles, the film will see actor-filmmaker Amol Gupte as the main antagonist. “The shooting was supposed to begin earlier this month, but due to some last minute changes it had to be postponed to May 15,” says line producer, Shiva Naik. Sources say that Ajay Devgn’s father was not keeping well so that could be the reason for calling off the shoot and postponing it to May 15. Golmaal trilogy, Rohit has also shot Devgn’s Singham (2011) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express in Goa. “All his films shot here in Goa are successful, so he loves coming here. When he is in Goa, he also loves zooming on Goa’s streets by bike,” says Newton Dias, event organiser and casting director. Being such a famous guy, does he take security along when on bike? “No, he does not require security. He is a tough guy and knows to handle the situation. Panaji: Shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Singham 2', the sequel to hit 2011 action film of the same name, is all set to begin from May 15 in North Goa. However, most of the shoot will be indoors and beaches do not figure on the list of locations. 'Singham 2', starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, will see actor-filmmaker Amol Gupte as the main antagonist. The sequel narrates the story of a honest police officer played by Devgn, who is currently working on his physique. "Directed by Rohit Shetty, the sequel has 15 days shooting schedule in Goa starting from May 15. Most of the shoot is indoors. It will be shot in North Goa," a source close to the production said. "There is no shooting on beach," the source added. The Rs 100 crore club director has already booked a few streets in places like Siolim village, 25 kms away from here, for the shoot. "All the permissions are in place," the source said, adding that Rohit Shetty recently visited Goa scouting for shooting locations.
