How To Draw A Squirrel

Introduction Squirrels are cute, and if you know how to draw a squirrel properly, you can bring out that cuteness in your artworks. However, I know that like me, many of you find squirrels difficult to draw. Despite being small, and having no complex physical appearance or features, drawing squirrels can get complicated at times, if you don’t know what you’re doing. I managed to overcome these complications by studying a bunch of squirrel drawing tutorials. The tutorials were really helpful, and I think that you too can learn how to draw a squirrel easily by studying them. There are three ways to draw a squirrel. In the first way, you can simply draw the squirrel’s outline and be done with it. The second approach is a bit more complex, and is more of a portrait. Here, you’ll need to work on some minor details as well. The third and final way to draw a squirrel is the realistic way, where you’ll have to work on a few details, as well as on the depth of your whole drawing. In this video tutorial, the artist will show you how to draw a cute cartoon squirrel. It’s a drawing tutorial for kids, and is quite easy to follow. These types of drawings are common in children’s drawing books, and hence, I believe that they’ll feel really comfortable working on it. 4 Ways to Draw a Squirrel

Add ears and legs. • Add two curved figure for the ears. Depending on the breed, you can also modify the ears a little. Some squirrels have longer and pointier ears. • for the legs, add some trapezoids at each circle. There should be one trapezoid at the base of the hind leg circle, another connected to the arm/foreleg circle and a small trapezoid for the body. • The smallest trapezoid is for the leg hiding behind the squirrel’s body. • Inside the head draw a slim oval.
