स्थानीय एसएस कॉलेज में व्यावसायिक शिक्षा के अंतर्गत स्नातक, स्नातकोत्तर एवं सर्टिफिकेट पाठ्यक्रमों में सत्र 2023-2024 में सीधे नामांकन की प्रक्रिया एक जून से आरंभ हो गई है। कॉलेज प्रशासन के अनुसार नामांकन के लिए इच्छुक छात्र -छात्राएं महाविद्यालय के व्यावसायिक शिक्षा केन्द्र में जाकर नामांकन ले सकते हैं। नामांकन की अंतिम तिथि आगामी 30 जून है। व्यावसायिक शिक्षा के प्रभारी सुबोध कुमार सुमन ने बताया कि एमएससी कंप्यूटर साइंस में जहां 60 सीट उपलब्ध है, वहीं स्नातक स्तरीय पाठ्यक्रमों में अलग-अलग 120 सीट उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने यह भी जानकारी दी कि महाविद्यालय में उपलब्ध पाठ्यक्रमों में बीसीए ,बीबीएम, बीएससी बायोटेक्नोलॉजी, बीएससी आईटी और बैचलर ऑफ लाइब्रेरी साइंस आदि शामिल है। इसके अलावे ऑटोमोबाइल मेनटेनेंस में सर्टिफिकेट कोर्स भी उपलब्ध है ,जिसकी अवधि एक वर्ष है और सीटों की संख्या 30 है। प्राचार्य डॉ. सुधीर कुमार मिश्र ने बताया कि इन रोजगारोन्मुखी पाठ्यक्रमों में नामांकन लेकर छात्र-छात्राएं अपना भविष्य सुरक्षित कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि मगध विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के निर्देशन में शैक्षणिक सत्र को नियमित करने पर विशेष जोर दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने यह भी जानकारी दी कि इन पाठ्यक्रमों में वर्ग का संचालन आगामी चार जुलाई से शुरू हो जाएगा। कॉलेज में व्यवसायिक शिक्षा के उक्त महत्वपूर्ण कोर्सों की पढ़ाई से जिले के हजारों स्टूडेंट्स को फायदा मिलेगा।
