By Nirali Kanabar: Shalin Bhanot's mother, Sunita Bhanot, entered Bigg Boss 16 house to support him. The actor's mom made an appearance on the reality show in yesterday's episode. Before Shalin's mother entered the reality show, she had an exclusive interaction with IndiaToday.in. During the course of our interaction, Sunita Bhanot shared her thoughts on Shalin and Sumbul Touqeer's friendship. SUMBUL IS NOT OBSESSED WITH SHALIN: SUNITA BHANOT In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Shalin Bhanot's mother said, "Viewers didn't find her (Sumbul) obsessed with Shalin. She was protective. Why not? Don't we protect our siblings? We do, right? Shalin was also protecting Sumbul like a young sister or a friend. If you have a younger friend, you feel that she is a little vulnerable and she should get more attention. That is what was happening between the two." Sumbul and Shalin were on good terms with each other during the initial days of Bigg Boss 16. After the actress's father, Touqeer Khan, made certain statements against the actor, he distanced himself from Sumbul. However, both of them are seen talking to each other as and when they have a chance to do so on the reality show.
