Uses for Cetirizine Allergic Rhinitis Self-medication for symptomatic relief of rhinorrhea, sneezing, lacrimation, itching eyes, and/or oronasopharyngeal itching associated with seasonal (e.g., hay fever) allergic rhinitis or other upper respiratory allergies. Symptomatic relief of perennial (nonseasonal) allergic rhinitis. May be used alone or in fixed combination with pseudoephedrine hydrochloride; use fixed-combination preparation only when both antihistamine and nasal decongestant activity are needed concurrently.
