The Kerala Story box office collection day 11: Adah Sharma film breaches ₹150 crore mark

The Kerala Story has been unstoppable at the domestic box office on day 11. Sudipto Sen's directorial has crossed ₹150 crore club in India, according to the latest figures. Reportedly, the Adah Sharma starrer earned ₹10.03 on Monday (last evening figures), taking the total box office collection till May 15 to Rs. 147.04 crores. The movie saw a drop in margin as compared to its previous days' collection. As per the reports, The Kerala Story has seen almost a drop of 50 percent when compared to the box office collection of May 14, which was Rs. 23 crore. Director The Kerala Story has been under the radar even before it hits the theatre on May 5. On Sunday (May 7), the film grossed the highest-ever collection of nearly Rs 16 crore and after witnessing a dip in numbers, the film managed to collect in double digits. The backlash for The Kerala Story is growing bigger as the Bengal government banned the film recently. T he Kerala Story had earned Rs 8 crore on the opening day and recorded the fifth-highest opening for a Hindi film in 2023 after Pathaan (Rs 55 crore), Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Rs 15.81 crore), Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's romance drama TJMM (Rs 15.7 crore), and Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa (Rs 11.20 crore).
