Beautiful Gothic architecture, a very impressive site. There were some building works going on when we were there so scaffolding prevented the ideal picture. Watch out for this as it seems the works are pretty well ongoing year round. Also be careful of all the traffic for both getting across the road to the best vantage point and for getting a small gap so cars do not block the photo! I'd recommend doing as part of a guided tour so you hear the fascinating facts of how many people the station copes with daily and just how efficient the whole system is. This is a very interesting museum tracing the life of Mahatma Gandhi from India, to South Africa, and back to India again. It is very well done. The dioramas are somewhat simple, but the Museum does an excellent job of condensing the high points of Gandhi’s life in a way that all ages can understand. We stayed for an hour and it was well worth the time. Wednesday 1st March and we took the train from Santa Cruz to Churchgate in the heart of Mumbai. From the Station we walked to Colaba, which is situated at the southern tip of the City. We walked along enjoying the sights and the atmosphere of the City.
