The CCTV camera installed in the high-risk ward of Tihar captured the murder, wherein Tillu Tajpuriya was repeatedly stabbed, causing blood to splatter on the ground where the gang war broke out. The video footage reveals that Tajpuriya was stabbed at least 92 times.

New Delhi [India], May 4 (ANI): The CCTV visuals from inside the Tihar jail, showed Tillu Tajpuriya being brutally stabbed to death by killers. The CCTV footage provided by the Delhi Police shows the three killers pulling Tajpuriya out from his cell, and assaulting him. The killers can be seen stabbing and attacking him multiple times leaving him in a pool of blood. The footage is from around 6:10 am on May 2. In the visuals, no police official is seen coming to save the gangster from the assailants. Some prisoners can be seen there, but no one was able to stop the attackers. Gangster Tillu Tajpuriya, an accused in Delhi’s Rohini court shootout case was killed by rival gang members in Tihar jail on May 2. New Delhi, May 4 (IANS) A chilling CCTV footage has surfaced showing the shocking murder of gangster Tillu Tajpuriya allegedly by the members of the notorious Jitender Gogi gang inside the high-security Tihar Jail on May 2. In the CCTV footage, which has been accessed by IANS, an undertrial prisoner can be seen climbing down from the first floor to the ground floor using a bedsheet. After climbing down, he first locks the ward floor. Meanwhile, a man wearing a red t-shirt can be seen rushing towards a cell and closing its door. The door was open for head count. Two more men then climb down using bedsheets and forcefully enter the cell, where a scuffle breaks out. The men then drag Tajpuriya out of the cell and stab him repeatedly on the head and the body. An old man tries to intervene, but in vain. A man wearing a green t-shirt is also stabbed, and blood could be seen on his hand. New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today pulled up Tihar jail officials for failing to stop the Justice Jasmeet Singh said the court is unable to comprehend why no steps were taken by authorities if the incident was captured on CCTV cameras inside the jail. He also asked how four knives were present in the jail complex. Justice Singh saw the shocking CCTV footage, which showed 33-year-old Tajpuriya being taken out of his cell and stabbed to death. The High Court said that it was a "totally unacceptable state of affairs". The attackers had fashioned knives out of an exhaust fan, used bedsheets to climb down a floor and barged into his cell to beat him to death, The court was hearing a petition moved by Tajpuriya's father and brother seeking a CBI probe in the murder, and also protection for them. Justice Jasmeet Singh asked the Delhi Police to consider providing security. The High Court has also ordered the public prosecutor to explain the responsibility and accountability of the officers responsible for the lapse.
