Tina was born in a Gujarati-speaking family in Bombay on February 11, 1955. The Munim family used to live in Bhuleshwar. Tina shot into fame during the year 1978 when she represented India at the International Teen Contest in Aruba. She won the Miss Photogenic and Miss Bikini awards.Pretty, very photogenic, she was discovered by Dev Anand who cast her as his leading lady in Des Pardes and gave two more back to back super-hits opposite Tina. These 3 films went on to become blockbusters, making Tina a household name. Tina Ambani was born on 11 February 1957 in Mumbai. She got married to Anil Ambani who is the chairman of Reliance company. Tina is from a Gujarati Jain family and grew up in Mumbai with his family. She has eight siblings and is the youngest among them. Tina did her graduation from MM Pupils Own School, Mumbai. She even won the crown of Femina Teen Princess in the same year. She was also the runner-up in Miss Teenage Intercontinental contest which was held in Aruba. Tina then got into Jai Hind College for getting the Arts degree. Tina also studied Interior designing as well as Computer Science in Los Angeles. However, she got interested in acting and, therefore, joined Bollywood. Her debut film was Des-Pardes which was released in 1978. Tina was even the heroine of Sanjay Dutt’s debut film, Rocky. Her career in Bollywood was excellent and continued to grow for thirteen years.
