Get All Sarkari Updates on Whatsapp Post-Release Date: 19, April 2023 The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2023 for the recruitment of 51 posts. The online application process for the same has begun on the official website of UPSC and will continue till 09/05/2023. The IES and ISS exams are considered prestigious and competitive exams in India, and thousands of candidates appear for these exams every year. The selected candidates will be appointed in various government departments and ministries in India. To apply for these exams, candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Economics or Applied Economics for IES and in Statistics or Applied Statistics for ISS from a recognized university. The age limit for appearing in the exam is 21 to 30 years. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online and pay the required fee before the last date of application. As per the notification, the registrations for the engineering and statistical will close on May 9, 2023. The window will close at 6 PM after which no applications will be accepted unless the commission decides to extend the date. Candidates will be able to make corrections from May 10, 2023 to May 16, 2023. Candidates need an educational qualification of a master's degree in economics/applied economics/business economics/econometriv from any recognised university or college to apply for IES. From ISS, candidates must have a graduation degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics from any recognised university or college.
