Vadodara: Soon, waiting in queues to pay your electricity bills will be a thing of the past. State-run power distribution companies (discoms) have decided to make it mandatory for customers with power bill of Rs 10,000 or more to make payment online. And in coming months, the power firms may switch to online mode for payment of amounts even less than Rs 10,000. "The idea is to make bill collection system easier and free of cash. Digital payment mode is the best alternative for customers as well as the discoms.
