Indore: Following complaints about technical glitches in the centralized Vahan 4.0 portal, Madhya Pradesh state transport department authorities on Friday held a meeting with auto-dealers of Indore and Ujjain districts and assured that all the glitches in the system will be resolved within a month. “There have been server related issues after the launch of Vahan 4.0 portal in Madhya Pradesh, and we are in the process of identifying the glitches in the portal’s server. We will resolve all of them within a month for sure,” Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, Principal Secretary (State Transport Department) told auto-mobile dealers while discussing the issues that they have been facing after the launch of the Vahan portal for registration of new vehicles of non-commercial category. Automobile dealers also expressed their concern about the upcoming festival season and requested department authorities to resolve the glitches in the server on priority. They complained about fetching insurance details, buyers’ details, slow server, variation in tax percentage for electric vehicles and bank payment issues. TNN
