The train will have 8 coaches and it is expected to complete the journey from Patna to Ranchi within 6 hours. It will be having five stops.

It will cover a total distance of 497 km with an average speed of 74 km per hour. The Vande Bharat Express from Chennai Central to Mysuru Junction will have the train number 20608. It will start its journey from Chennai at 5.50 am and cover a distance of 359 km reaching Bengaluru city at 10.25 am. After a five-minute halt at the junction, the train will continue at 10.30 am and reach the final destination — Mysuru Junction — at 12.30 pm. Railway authorities have already conducted a trial run of the Vande Bharat Express on this route and have deemed it suitable for regular operations. Currently, the journey from the twin cities to Nagpur takes approximately 8.30 hours. However, during the trial run of the Vande Bharat Express, the journey time was reduced to over 6 hours without any stoppages. Taking into account the scheduled stops, the expected journey time is estimated to be around 6.30 hours, effectively reducing the travel time by almost 2 hours. The Secunderabad-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express is anticipated to have stops at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Sirpur Kagaznagar, and Balarshah. This initiative is part of the government’s plan to introduce the Vande Bharat Express on the Bengaluru, Pune, and Nagpur routes.
