In a candid interview ahead of Virupaksha's release, Sai Dharam Tej spoke at length about his experience on filming for a horror movie. He revealed that he doesn't enjoy horror films and is afraid of the dark. "I told my director that if there is any other unplanned sound effect during the shooting, I shall immediately get into my car and leave. For a person like me, doing a horror film is a big horror, and when I watched the movie after its completion, I was really scared," laughed Sai Dharam tej. 2) Sai Dharam Tej is a person who avoids horror films.
