Vishnu Sahasranamam presents 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. As per Sanskrit, ‘sahasra’ means ‘one thousand’ and ‘nāma’ means ‘name’. Thus, Vishnu Sahasranamam means Lord Vishnu with thousand names or thousand names of Lord Vishnu. Chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam regularly one can get the blessings of Lord Vishnu. This also protects from the evil eyes and enemies. Vishnu Sahasranamam assists in removing obstacles, diseases, suffering and helps attain Moksha.
