Powered by the MediaTek processor, the smartphone offers a 64MP main camera and 66W fast charging support. The smartphone promises to deliver a good performance in terms of camera and processor. We tested the Vivo V25 Pro and here’s our complete review. Vivo V25 Pro is undoubtedly a premium and elegant-looking mid-range smartphone available in the market. This mid-range smartphone from Vivo features a colour-changing AG Glass on the back. The photochromic molecular structures within the smartphone back panel begin to change rapidly when exposed to sunlight or UV light, making the back panel of the phone change from one colour to another. This along with Fluorite AG glass makes every ray of reflected light give out a softer and delicate glow. The smartphone comes in two colour options Pure Black and Sailing Blue and both colours look equally amazing and trendy. The AG glass panel comes with a fingerprint-resistant coating and it also offers a better grip to the user. The back panel also houses a triple rear camera setup placed inside a square module along with the Vivo branding. Despite the large display, the smartphone offers a slim and sleek form factor. The mid-range smartphone weighs 190 grams and offers curved edges which add to its looks. The rear camera is slightly protruding ...

We got two new vivo phones in today and it’s time we turn out attention to the The in-box contents include the phone, a SIM tool, a clear silicone case, a pair of wired earphones with an included 3.5mm to USB-C dongle as well as a 44W power brick and USB-C cable. Our vivo V25 review unit comes in the flashy Aquamarine Blue color which not only looks cool but also has the ability to change its hues thanks to the Fluorite AG glass back which reacts to UV light. This is the same sort of experience we got with the vivo V23 Pro a while back and it’s still just as cool to see the color shift in real-time. You can get creative with stencils and personalize the back to your liking. We had a carabiner laying around and decided to test out how well it would look on the V25's back. Not too shabby. The V25’s back also features a giant camera island headlined by the 64MP main cam with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro cam. The more impressive camera is housed in the waterdrop notch on the front - a 50MP f/2.0 shooter with autofocus just like on last year’s The 6.44-inch AMOLED panel features FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Funtouch 12 based on Android 12 runs smooth and brings plenty of customization options to tinker with. The vanilla V25 gets a larger 4,500 mAh battery with vivo’s 44W fast charging which vivo claims can do a 0-61% charge in 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for our vivo V25 full review coming in the following weeks.

Vivo V25 Pro Review: UV

The Lowdown There is much to like about the V25 Pro. Its attractive design has a large, beautiful display offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and its camera is very good. The RAM and storage options are generous, and the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC is highly capable. And unlike most of the phones sold in the US, Vivo includes plenty of useful accessories right in the box, including a case, a screen protector, wired headphones, etc., so there are no extra expenses. Listen to this article Vivo may be an unfamiliar smartphone brand to many in the United States. Still, as of August this year, it is the sixth largest smartphone manufacturer worldwide with a 4.29% market share¹ and 149 million smartphones shipped². Since 2011, Vivo has made a name for itself by creating smartphones that offer high-end features at mid-range prices. Available now in India, the Vivo V25 Pro is their latest model, and it happens to be the first Vivo product I’ve ever tried. Let’s take a look. The Vivo V25 Pro is available in Starlight Black or Surfing Blue. Unboxing the Vivo V25 Pro Included in the box are the smartphone, an 80W FastCharge brick (UK plug), a USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable, a pair of wired earbuds, a 3.5mm headphone jack to USB Type-C dongle, a SIM tool, a plastic overlay with a surfing woman graphic, a clear TPU case, and a product information & warranty booklet. 6.56-inch FullHD, 120Hz, HDR10+ AMOLED display The vivo V25 Pro retains the 6.56-inch display diagonal of the previous V23 Pro but uses a newer panel with a few notable updates. First off, the FullHD+ display now has a 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz in the previous model. The V25 Pro is also slightly brighter. Vivo says that the panel peaks at around 1300 nits, which might very well be true when only a very small portion of the display is active. In our standardized testing, we measured 500 nits when maxing out the brightness slider. The V25 Pro has a well-functioning brightness boost mode that triggers in bright lighting conditions. Using it, we measured a maximum of 805 nits. Not bad at all. In fact, these figures are slightly higher than what we got on the V23 Pro. Even if not chart-topping, the V25 Pro is perfectly usable outdoors.
