By India Today Web Desk: The Union Cabinet has passed a bill regarding electoral reforms that will link a citizen's Aadhaar card to its voter ID cards. The proposal was initiated by the Election commission of India to get four turns to register in a year. The citizens who are turning the age of 18 need to register as voters. The electoral law is considered to be gender-neutral for service voters. So, an individual can link Aadhaar to the voter ID via the national voter service portal, SMS, phone, or by visiting the nearby booth level officers. Step 4: Now click on the search button if the details entered correctly fit the government's data base, so that the details will be displayed on the screen. Step 5: Tap on the ‘Feed Aadhaar No’ option which is available on the left side of the screen. Step 6: A pop-up page will be shown to fill in the name as present on the Aadhaar card, Aadhaar number, voter ID number, registered mobile number and/or registered email address. Step 7: After all the details are mentioned, then cross check the data once and click on the submit button. Step 8: Finally, a message will be shown on the screen displaying that the application is registered successfully.
