WBFDC NATURE RESORT

The property has the best ambience, in the lap of nature with greenery & scenic beauty all around...However the guest service by lodge staff played a spoilt sport in the experience. The ambience gives you a feel of a hill station away from the maddening crowd near the dam. However the lodge /restaurant staff have a rather hostile/unprofessional behaviour towards guests requirements....eg they serve room tea with cups & flask only (without saucers), reluctant to give additional dishes if u ask for. There was no staff available to help with luggage during check-in/out The restaurant rather looks like a single (200 sqft) room with only 4 tables, feels like a roadside food stall ..food quality average. A person who visits this lodge should keep expectations low from lodge staff, and should just enjoy the natural beauty.… Sonajhuri Forest Rest House is situated on top of a small hillock for which the view is magnificent as well as the property's location is in a very convenient place. We stayed in Amlaki cottage. The view of the dam was very beautiful from the cottage balcony.Rooms we fine and toilet was also clean. When we asked for a separate cot it was provided but all the services were done at the staff's own sweet time.I had to call them up multiple times to get done simple things. The property in itself is very well maintained. The garden is beautiful. There is a watch place at the top most portion of the property which gives you an bird's eye view. The cottages are scattere...
