The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. The UPSC exam is one of the most difficult in the country. While Union Public Service Commission is the most prestigious and significant exam-conducting authority. It is responsible for appointing and conducting examinations for Group A and Group B posts under the civil services cadre and defence services cadre of the Union government. Established on October 1, 1926, as Public Service Commission, it was later named UPSC, mandated by the Constitution of India for recruiting eligible candidates to the Union and All India services.
