With the cut-off date for completing the mandatory medical internship being extended to June 30, medical aspirants feel that the NEET PG 2023 exam date should also be postponed by around 6-8 weeks. The National Board of Examinations ( NBE) has fixed the exam date for March 5 and the results would be out by March 31. But unless the candidates complete their one-year internship by June, they will not be allowed for the medical counselling process which may be held in July. Medical experts and counsellors have been supporting the postponement of the exam till May, pointing out that it would help candidates prepare better for their exams.
