Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Family History: आज संविधान निर्माता कहे जाने वाले बाबासाहेब डॉ भीमराव आंबेडकर की जयंती है. उनका पूरा नाम भीमराव रामजी आंबेडकर है. 14 अप्रैल 1891 को मध्य प्रदेश में इंदौर के निकट महू छावनी में एक महार परिवार में हुआ था, जबकि उनका पैतृक गांव महाराष्ट्र के रत्नागिरी जिले में मंडणगढ़ तहसील अंतर्गत आम्ब्रावेडे है. उनके पिता का नाम रामजी राव और दादा का नाम मालोजी सकपाल था. 20 नवम्बर, 1896 में मात्र 5 वर्ष की आयु में ही मां का साया उनके सिर से उठ गया था. इसके बाद उनकी बुआ मीरा ने चारों बहन-भाइयों की देखभाल की. बचपन से ही भीमराव कुशाग्र बुद्धि के थे. वे पढ़ने में बहुत तेज थे. उनकी अनूठी प्रतिभा से प्रभावित होकर एक चहेते ब्राह्मण शिक्षक ने उन्हें ‘अंबेडकर’ उपनाम दिया, जो आगे चलकर उनके मूल नाम का अभिन्न हिस्सा बन गया.

जाति का विनाश (ANNIHILATION of Caste) उस भाषण का लिखित रूप है जो भाषण आंबेडकर को 1936 में विशेषाधिकारप्राप्त जाति के हिन्दुओं के समक्ष लाहौर में देना था। वह संगठन, जिसने आंबेडकर को अध्यक्षीय भाषण देने का निमंत्रण देने का साहस दिखाया, लाहौर का ‘जात-पात तोड़क मंडल’ था। यह आर्य समाज की एक उग्र मौलिक परिवर्तनवादी शाखा थी। इसके ज्यादातर सदस्य विशेषाधिकारप्राप्त जाति के हिन्दू सुधारवादी थे। जब dr.अंबेडकर ने अपने भाषण को बदलने से किया इनकार। उन्होंने भाषण के लेख की अग्रिम नक़ल माँगी, ताकि उसे छपवाया और बँटवाया जा सके। जब उन्होंने इसे पढ़ा, तो उनको अहसास हुआ कि आंबेडकर वेदों, शास्त्रों और हिन्दू धर्म पर भी एक बौद्धिक आक्रमण करने जा रहे हैं, उन्होंने आंबेडकर को एक “घटना के हम सभी लोग, जो यह चाहते हैं कि सम्मेलन बिना किसी अप्रिय पूरा हो जाए, चाहते हैं कि कम से कम ‘वेद’ शब्द को फ़िलहाल भाषण से बाहर रखा जाए। हम इसे आपके विवेक पर छोड़ देते हैं। मैं उम्मीद करता हूँ कि आप अपने समापन पैराग्राफ़ में यह व्यक्त कर देंगे कि भाषण में दिए गए विचार आपके अपने हैं, और मंडल इसके लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं है”। आंबेडकर ने अपने भाषण को बदलने से इनकार कर दिया, और इसलिए कार्यक्रम रद्द हो गया। उनका भाषण-लेख, मंडल के लिए अचरज का विषय नहीं होना चाहिए था। सिर्फ चन्द माह पहले, 13 अक्टूबर, 1935 को बॉम्बे प्रेसिडेंसी में येओला में (अभी के महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश) सम्पन्न दमित वर्ग सम्मेलन (Depressed Classes Conference) में आंबेडकर ने दस हज़ार से ज्यादा श्रोताओं को बताया था : ANNIHILATION of Caste पर भाषण लिखा था बाबा साहेब dr.Ambedkar ने। चूँकि हमारा दुर्भाग्य है कि हम स्वयं को हिन्दू कहते हैं, इसलिए हमारे साथ ऐसा बर्ताव ह...
