While visiting his friend Seon Min Joon's penthouse, Gong Soo Kwang stumbles upon Seul Bi who follows him home. Soo Kwang promises Seul Bi to take her to a local fun fair in exchange for her returning to the penthouse. Meanwhile, Seon Sam Joong looks for a runaway Seul Bi and orders to get rid of anyone who touched her, including Soo Kwang. Two years have passed since Gong Soo Kwang survived his own murder and now lives as Go Myung Sung, a fish seller at Seodong Market known for his immense bad luck. Meanwhile, Seul Bi, still haunted by her memories of Soo Kwang, manages to escape from the Keumhwa Hotel and Seon Sam Joong and search for Soo Kwang while causing trouble everywhere she goes. Seul Bi and Gong Soo Kwang's cute trip to Busan takes a dangerous turn. Seul Bi confesses her feelings towards Gong Soo Kwang but is taken back when she doesn't get the answer she was hoping for. Meanwhile, Seul Bi receives an offer from Seon Min Joon that leaves her confused, Seon Sam Joong and Seon Il Joong continue the search for her after a short stop and Seon Dong Shik becomes curious about Seul Bi.

But even if she can change the future, there may be a price to pay in return. EPISODES 15-16 WEECAP The goodbyes start early, as Mi-su moves out to a seaside cottage with Chairman Sun, who’s still unresponsive. Before she leaves, Mi-su says a private goodbye to Seul-bi, urging her to live a normal life from here on out. The rest of Mi-su’s story is short and sad. After some time caring for Chairman Sun, she’s overcome with longing. Crying that every moment spent with him was precious (which isn’t how I remember it, but okay), she wishes for just a little more time. Then she uses the very last of her power to free him from the curse. The effort causes her to fall unconscious, and her strength never fully returns. Chairman Sun has to take care of her in the ensuing days until she passes peacefully if sorrowfully. It’s far from the ending I would have chosen for her, but the one tiny consolation is that Chairman Sun has to live the rest of his miserable life alone and full of regret. It also begs the question: is the future set in stone, or can it be changed? EPISODES 13-14 WEECAP Now that they’re together again in more than one sense of the word, Seul-bi and Su-kwang enjoy spending time together, much to Min-joon’s frustration. And honestly, to an extent, I can’t blame him. He may have been acting like a spoiled brat for much of the past several weeks, but he’s also being intentionally kept in the dark about hugely important details for no good reason. Even Mi-su gets to the point of prodding Chairman Sun over when he plans to tell Min-joon that Seul-bi is his daughter. But though Mi-su finally tells Seul-bi (who’s disgusted by the news), poor Min-joon has to find out by accident. Because Chairman Sun isn’t ready to tell his own son, but he is ready to start filing paperwork to get Seul-bi added to the family registry.
