The Pre Kindergarten Classroom and Curriculum

Four-Year-Old Ready for Take-Off Four-year-olds have a natural affinity for language. They are starting to think logically and can use language to express their thinking. Your pre-kindergartener is eager to explore and learn more about the world. Find out how your child can stretch her imagination and discover new concepts with confidence. Right Experiences At the Right Time Rather than asking children to memorize facts, Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through multi-sensory learning experiences that encourage discovery through playful exploration, teacher-guided investigations, questioning, direct instruction and discussion. When your child is mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, this leads to mastery instead of frustration. Then we build upon the skill to more easily learn the next one. Our Pre-Kindergarten program nurtures curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. In our Pre-Kindergarten program, your child begins to develop emergent reading, writing, science, technology, engineering and math skills (STEAM) within large group, small group and children's choice settings. Our staff pays close attention to all aspects of your child’s development. Here are some of the engaging programs and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, creative and character development in every child.
