With a worldwide gross collection of $14 million and India gross collections of nearly $10 million, the film is now the second biggest weekend opener for a Hindi film this year. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan made an opening nett collection of $1.9 million in the Indian markets on Friday, toppling Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar as the second biggest opening Hindi film in India for the year 2023. The film is second only to Sidharth Anand’s Pathaan which scored $6.9 million earlier this year. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is being screened more than 4500 screens across the globe, making it as wide a release as Yash Raj Film’s Pathaan that broke several box office records earlier this year. With a pre-festive release, the film was also able to encash on regular weekend-movie-buffs as well as those stepping into theatres as part of their celebrations. Before his debut, Hrithik was nervous and did everything he could to look good on the screen. He even called Salman Khan for bodybuilding tips! The actor shared in an interview with BBC that he meditated, took singing and acting classes to excel in his dual roles as Rohit and Raj in the film. He wanted the characters to look different, so he sought advice from Salman.
