Now, students can check the CBSE 10th results by visiting - cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in. This time, CBSE has decided that the board will not declare the merit list of board exams, and also this time divisions will not be distributed to the students. However, only 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in subjects will get a merit certificate. Notably, CBSE has taken this decision to avoid "unhealthy competition" among students, said Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, who also asserted that the board will also not assign first, second, and third divisions to students in class 10 and 12 exam results. "As per earlier decision of the board, no merit list will be declared to avoid unhealthy competition among students. The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) will release the results of the The AP EAPCET 2023 exam was held from May 15 to May 19 for the engineering stream, and from May 22 to May 23 for the pharmacy and agriculture streams. These tests were conducted in two sessions, each lasting three hours. The first shift was slated to run from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM. The preliminary answer key for AP EAMCET 2023 was released on May 24. Candidates had till May 26 to submit complaints or raise objections. A source close to the board has shared that CBSE 10th result might be delayed to speed up CBSE Class 12 results. “Evaluation process for CBSE 12th is also almost complete, it is possible that CBSE might put 10th result on hold to process 12th results first and release both results around same time,” he said. It may be noted, if that is the case, CBSE 10th Results might be delayed till July 15. Updates are awaited. Speaking on the matter, a CBSE official from regional office (name withheld) has shared that CBSE Mark sheets would have combined and final result for the student and not divided into term wise performance. The final mark sheet would only have the break up of theory and internal exams and not Term 1 and Term 2 performance. Experts have also pointed out that the board is not likely to give break up of both the terms. “Ideally CBSE should give a break up for Term 1 and Term 2 score. However, the moderation and normalization would be done on the final score, hence it is probably that the actual final result would only have combined result and score and not a detailed break up,” shares Ms. Sen, who is familiar with CBSE’s working.
