Permanent Account Number (PAN) card and Aadhaar Card are two important documents. You might have both. If not, then you apply for it as soon as possible. In case you have PAN card but have not yet connected it to your Aahaar number, you must do so by March 31, 2022, as neglecting it might attract a penalty. Previously, the deadline to connect the PAN with the Aadhaar was 31 December 2021, however, the deadline has been extended by the government to March 31, 2022. If you fail to link your PAN card with your Aadhaar Number, your PAN card will become invalid, putting you in trouble as you didn't complete the linkage within the given time.
