The Origin of Aditya Hrudaya Stotram Aditya Hrudayam Stotram is a popular Sanskrit stotra praises the virtues of Surya Bhagwan, the Sage Agastya, one of the Saptarishis (the renowned seven sages) taught this stotra to Sri Ram. Rama’s wife Sita was abducted by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. Rama searched desperately to know the whereabouts of Sita and was devastated by her abduction.
