Status Codes: HK, SS, OK, RQ, Etc.

I was just wondering what the different status codes mean. Here is what I recall: HK = "Held Confirmed" (reservation but not ticketed) OK = " OK" (ticketed and confirmed) SS = "Seat Saved" (reservation with seat assignment) RQ = Waitlisted NN = "Need/Need" (seat requested) CV = "Checked In/Virtual" (checked in via internet) Did I get these right? Are there others? It depends on what you mean. On a ticket, you will only ever see: OK - Confirmed Space (Unless the flight is overbooked, you may still get bumped with compensation) WL - Wait-listed RQ - On request The others are more commonly seen in airlines and agents systems HK - Seat confirmed on a flight HS - Seat sold but booking not ended and re-retireved SS - Same as above, but depends on the airlines link to the reservation system NN - Need Need. Again depends on the airlines link and the number of seats available on the flight at time of booking. RR - Reconfirmed by passenger. UN - Flight cancelled by airline TK - Timing changed by the airline on a confirmed sector. TL - Timing changed by the airline on a waitlisted sector. There's loads more, hope this helps. Sometimes the internal codes in the reservations systems will differ based on the system you're using. At NW (Worldspan), an employee listing uses action code SA. At AA (Sabre), an employee listing uses action code MM. There are others, of course. DS - Desired segment (usually used to have yield management do an overbook) WK - Was confirmed (schedule change) SC -...
