The new plan offers 6GB of internet data and serves as a data voucher for users who need to quickly recharge their internet data after exceeding their daily data limit. It is worth mentioning that Airtel released this new data plan just days after Vodafone Idea launched a similar data voucher for its prepaid users. Let's take a detailed look at the newly added Airtel prepaid data voucher and its offerings. Airtel Rs 49 prepaid plan details The new prepaid plan offered by Airtel provides 6GB of bundled data with a validity of 1 day. As reported by Telecom Talk, the new prepaid data voucher is not a standalone plan. This means that users will need an active base plan in order to enjoy the benefits of the newly added data plan. This plan is specifically curated for users who require additional data for a specific period, particularly when they are in an area without access to WiFi. However, if users are looking for a similar plan but with extended validity, they can also consider the Rs 58 data plan. The prepaid voucher offers 3GB of data with validity until the existing base plan. Alternatively, if they require more data and validity, Airtel's Rs 98 plan is also available. With this plan, users receive 5GB of data with the validity of the existing plan, along with additional benefits of Wynk Music premium. In May it hit the 2-million mark in Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The next-generation service now reaches more than 3,500 towns and villages across the country, up from 3,000 in late April. Airtel and Jio launched their 5G network in 2022. At first, the availability of the 5G network was limited to select cities. Both Jio and Airtel have been expanding the 5G network coverage since the launch, and as of now, one can experience the 5G network from Jio and Airtel in all major cities of India. To use a 5G network from either Airtel or Jio, there is no need to upgrade your SIM card. Even if you have an eSIM, you can use the same to experience Jio’s True 5G and Airtel’s 5G Plus network. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 5G services on October 1, Airtel announced that it will initially start by offering services in 8 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Siliguri and Bangalore. Bharti Enterprises founder and chairmanSunil Bharti Mittal said that Airtel will roll out 5G services in most parts of the country by March 2023 and cover entire India by March 2024.
