Amritpal Refusing to Reveal Funding Sources, Could be Dangerous: Police Sources

Pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh, who was arrested on April 23 after a month-long hunt, has refused to reveal the sources of his funding and has the potential to be dangerous to peace and security, sources in Punjab Police told News18. Amritpal Singh has been lodged in a high-security prison in Assam’s Dibrugarh since his arrest by the Punjab Police. Police sources told News18 that, during questioning, the Khalistani sympathiser and head of the Waris Punjab De outfit, indicated that will “not cross the line of criminality if let off”. Delhi Court refuses to grant transit remand of Amritpal, Amrik Singh associated with Khalistani outfit KTF to Punjab police

Punjab police had sought their transit remand in a case of extortion registered at the police Jagraon Sadar, District Ludhiana, Punjab. Avtar Singh Khanda, Amritpal Aide and Head of Khalistan Liberation Force, Dies of Blood Cancer in UK

Avtar Singh Khanda, handler of arrested Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, has died in UK, with top intelligence sources telling CNN-News18 that the cause of his death was blood cancer. The UK-based head of Khalistan Liberation Force died at Birmingham City Hospital at around 12:45 am (IST) on Thursday, sources said. Khanda was hospitalised in London after he was diagnosed with blood cancer on Wednesday, where he was put on life support. Sources said Khanda’s body got poisoned as a clot burst due to the cancer.
