As India gasps for breath while tackling the dreaded Covid second wave, 200 Covidiots were found flouting rules in a resort in Maharashtra. On April 29, a late evening raid was carried out in Anchaviyo resort in Wada. Around 200 people were found attending a “mehndi” ceremony and flouting the “Break the Chain” order of the Maharashtra government. Anchaviyo resort was immediately booked. And the parents of the bride and groom were slapped with a whopping ₹50,000 fine. But this is not the first resort to be booked for hosting Covidiots and fluting Covid guidelines. But when they arrived the police witnessed an arrangement for 500 chairs and a gathering of 200 people, flouting Covid rules.
