UP Nikay Chunav 2023 Winner List: The urban local body elections in Uttar Pradesh was held for a total of 14,684 posts. Of the total posts, 17 are for mayors, 1,420 for corporators, 199 for chairpersons of municipal councils, 5,327 for members of municipal councils, 544 for chairpersons of town panchayats, and 7,178 for members of town panchayats. Lucknow: The result of Uttar Pradesh urban local body polls or UP Nikay Chunav held in two phases, on May 4 and 11, will be declared today. The counting of votes is underway. The two-phase elections saw the political parties, including the ruling BJP and main opposition Samajwadi Party, making all-out efforts to strengthen themselves ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
