2022 Honda Trail 125 / CT125 Review: Specs & Features + Changes Explained!

– 2022 Honda Trail 125 (CT125) Motorcycle Review / Specs | Buyer’s Guide with everything You need to know! – Well, well, well… The Honda Trail 125, also known as the CT125 is FINALLY returning to the USA for the 2022 model year! The new Honda Trail 125 was originally announced for the US market back in September of 2020, we had followed its progress before it was made “official” as other corners of the world received it first but we weren’t complaining because it was finally coming. Fast forward to its release date in November of that year and then shortly after, we had the whole coronavirus situation happen and that threw a wrench in everything – needless to say. That slowed things down to where it’s rollout throughout 2021 was lackluster to say the least, dealers weren’t able to get anywhere near enough to satisfy demand, which then led to unhappy customers who were waiting for months to receive their CT125. Some people have been waiting over a year for theirs to arrive and it was radio silence from American Honda on if they were going to be importing it again for the 2022 model year and as more and more 2022 motorcycles were announced, still nothing when it came to a 2022 CT125 release. Fast forward to today, the same day that American Honda announces the 2023 Grom – they announce the 2022 Trail 125 is returning! What did Honda change for 2022 on the Trail 125 / CT125? Are we getting a new color option that other corners of the world get, like the Matte Fresco Brown or ...

Bajaj CT125X launched at Rs 71,354

Bajaj Auto has launched a new 125cc model, called the CT125X. It is priced at Rs 71,354 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Bajaj CT125X gets a circular headlamp with a shroud around it and an LED daytime running light. The bike also comes with a headlamp guard, engine crash guard and a luggage rack. The CT125X is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 10 BHP and 11 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is equipped with conventional telescopic fork suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It comes with 130 mm drum brakes as standard, but also gets a 240 mm front disc as an option. The biggest issue with Bajaj products is that the company lies in a state of perpetual confusion. Always mixing different engines with different chassis. This bike is an epic masterpiece of design and cost-cutting. No painted mudguards No rear body panels Tube tyres on alloy wheels 4ah battery And still costs more than a regular ct100 The extra 25cc compared to the ct100 won't be of much use or exciting either. The refinement of bajaj bikes is far behind Honda, no wonder every commuter bike by Honda was 10k costlier than Bajaj. Looks and rough use will be the advantages. Bajaj CT 125X vs CT 110X: engine, features, price The bike that has been spotted has ‘125X’ badging on its side panels but comes equipped with a drum brake at the front. This is a clear indication that the new bike’s engine will displace slightly less than 125cc, A bump up in displacement also means that the CT 125X will have a higher output than the CT 110X’s 115cc mill, which churns out 8.5hp at 7,000rpm and 9.8Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. While the minutia about this engine hasn’t been revealed yet, it could share components with other 125cc models in Bajaj’s line-up like the Pulsar 125. While the engine is the major talking point here, the CT 125X also gets a few cosmetic changes to differentiate it from its smaller sibling. For starters, this model gets different paint options compared to the smaller CT, as well as a much thicker double-stitched seat. There is also a USB charging port on the handlebar, which isn’t found on the CT 110X. Apart from these changes, there isn’t much to distinguish the upcoming CT 125X from the CT 110X. The overall silhouette, as well as the underpinnings, bear more than a passing resemblance to each other, indicating that the price tag this new model carries won’t be too far off the Rs 66,298 (ex-showroom, Delhi) you have to shell out for the CT 110X. When it does make its way to the showroom floors, the CT 125X will rival the likes of the Honda SP125, TVS Raider and the Would you pick the CT 125X over the CT 110X? Let us know in the comments...
