Appointment of school teachers in 7th phase soon: Bihar education minister

PATNA: The new guidelines for recruitment of schoolteachers in Replying to a Bihar STET working committee tweet on Friday, the minister asserted that the recruitment of teachers in the 7th phase would be held soon as the current year 2023 is the 'year of recruitment'. No teacher aspirant need to worry now as the new guidelines of appointment would be finalized within a month, he said. He further pointed out that the merit list would be prepared on the basis of qualifications and TET results under the able guidance of the district administration. To facilitate hassle-free appointment of teachers, the number of recruitment units was being reduced from 9,000 to just 38. Earlier, the recruitments of teachers were held at panchayat, block and district level (called units), but now it would be held in a centralized manner only at the district level. Hence, there would be no scope of any irregularity in recruitments, the minister claimed. Sources said that about 1.5 lakh teachers right from primary to +2 stage are likely to be appointed on the basis of revised guidelines in the seventh phase. Most probably, the recruitments would commence from the +2 schools down to primary schools. All the 9,362 upgraded higher secondary schools in the state are facing acute dearth of subject teachers and, hence, the appointment for these schools would be made first to ensure their regular academic activities. He split with Congress Leader Mrs. Early Life and Education Chandra Shekhar was born on 1 st of July 1927 in Uttar Pradesh’s district Ballia. He hails from a poor farmer’s family from the village Ibrahimpatti. Even if he wasn’t from a financially sound family, it didn’t deter him to study and do something in life. He received his graduation degree from Satish Chandra P.G. College and he completed his Masters in Political Science from Allahabad University in the year 1951. During his tenure at the university, he was called as the Firebrand in student politics. He was under the influence of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and eventually under his influence he started his political journey. He was active involved in the socialist politics. Chandra Shekhar Singh got married to Duja Devi and the couple have two sons – Pankaj and Neeraj.
